Privacy Policy

Ripple & Rise Creative (“we”, “us”) is a small creative studio based in Sellicks Beach, South Australia. We care about your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect on this website and why.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: your name, email address, business name, the service you’re interested in and your message. Please don’t send sensitive information such as passwords or payment card details.
  • When you chat with our website assistant: the messages you type and anything you choose to share (such as a name or phone number if you ask us to get in touch). Our assistant is an AI, and conversations may be saved so we can follow up and improve it.
  • When you book a call: the details you give our calendar provider, TidyCal. Its calendar only loads after you click “Show available times”.
  • Technical information: like any website, our hosting servers record basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) in short-lived logs to keep the site secure and working.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, discuss your project and provide our services.
  • To keep records of conversations and enquiries so nothing is missed.
  • To keep this website and our systems secure and to prevent spam.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve asked to hear from us.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our business. They handle information only to provide their service to us:

  • Website and application hosting, and our enquiry database, in Australia (Sydney region).
  • An AI model provider that processes the messages you type into the website assistant so it can reply. This may involve processing outside Australia, including in the United States.
  • TidyCal (calendar booking) and our email provider.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Keeping it safe and how long we keep it

Connections to this site are encrypted (HTTPS), access to our systems is restricted, and we keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or the law requires. We’ll delete or de-identify it when it’s no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email hello@rippleandrise.com.au. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us and we’ll try to fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
